Lord,
Let come your judgment of this world. Deceit, sexual violence, perversion, greed, hatred swirl around us, above us, within us. We deceive and are deceived. We use and are used.
Yet the evil that scars us has scarred you. Arise! Confront! Subdue! Make war, Lamb who is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. As for us, let us turn to Christ and there find your likeness and salvation in him seated at your right hand, whose lips and heart and hands are alive to your goodness. Let us find refuge in him.
