Father, Son, and Spirit,
We give thanks and praise, honor and glory to him who declares the end from the beginning. The testimony of Christ is the spirit of prophecy. When Joseph dreamed as you bore witness, it was the breath of Christ carrying the prophetic word. You confirm your covenant with Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David. Your sure testimony came again and again and remains with us to this day.
And it is by your sure testimony that you will judge the nations. The sword of your word will divide them all. Those who war against you and serve false prophets will be shattered by your word when you come and enact your reign once and forever.
Day to day pours out speech. Your precepts are right, rejoicing our hearts. More desirable are they than gold, sweeter than honey. Let also the words of our mouths and the meditation of our hearts be acceptable to you. For your word, your promise, your Christ are righteous altogether. You reveal and take away our hidden faults. Come, O Lord, our rock and our redeemer.
