Easter 31

Lord and God,

We give thanks to the Lord of lords who alone works wonders, for your steadfast love endures forever. You give children to the childless, multiply want into plenty, raise the dead, turn rivers to blood, give the mighty into the hand if the weak.

You give to us Jesus, who is the Christ. He who worked wonders for us and for our salvation endured death. He remembers us in our low estate, slaves of sin; he rescues us from all our foes, the world and the flesh and the evil one; he gives food to all flesh, his own broken body and outpoured blood nourish us. Blessed is he who braved death to win eternal life for us; truly his steadfast love endures forever.
