OT 6

Lord and God,

Our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth? We were fools if we ever thought a house we made in the city you chose would ever contain your name. You who prepare a people for yourself as a radiant bride, who avenges the innocent with righteous fury; your name must be proclaimed in all creation by all creation.

Let pass away the former things. Let come your new kingdom, your new world, in which there is no evil long since destroyed by you, no tear long since wiped away by you. We await your new creation. We await you. Let your glory come, and let us await you faithfully.
