OT 7

Lord and God,

You sit enthroned forever. Kingdoms come and go, but you have established your throne for justice. You will stand between the mighty and the weak, the wicked and the innocent. Where men were too weak, selfish, evil or cowardly to bring righteousness to bear, you will be strong, loving, good and holy.

May we ever live to worship and serve you alone. Keep us from golden calves or even your holy angels and from things which are not gods. You alone ransomed us; you alone led us and fed us in the wilderness; you alone brought kingdoms to nothing; you alone paid the price on the cross for every one of our sins. Come soon, Jesus. We long to worship you.
