Lord and God,

How long? How long are we to be under the same sun, seeing the same fate for the righteous and the wicked? How long until you remember your congregation you purchased of old?

Yet you have made us the light of the world, under a new sin of your own righteousness. There is a mission which is not vanity; there is a work which will be remembered—to be in Christ and proclaim the honors of his name. Let us walk in wisdom, true wisdom, toward outsiders. Let us learn how to answer each as ambassadors of the mystery of Christ. In him, let us rest from cursed toil and weariness. For you have revealed the word which works salvation in the midst of the earth.
